I am looking for a nice hardwood african djembe in about the five hundred dollar range.
I have traditional hawaiin shell leis (necklaces) for trade. These necklaces are made out of one of the rarest shells in the world. Kahelelanis. Kahelelani means "The pathway to heaven" . Back in the day these necklaces were made for only the king and queen of hawaii, when they passed from this life to the next. hence "The pathway to heaven" Today they are still made by the local kauain and niihaun families. I was blessed enough to learn how to make them in kauai. They are the only shell in the world considered a gem.
There are anywhere from 5 to 3000 shells on each necklace depending on the style. The prices ranges are from 100 to 1000 dollars for the ones that i make. You can check them out on my tribe photos. I am willing to trade a double strand rope for a nice djembe.
Thank you
